Frollen Music Library brings you “Planet Frollen”, a cinematic sojourn inspired by the sparse and brooding music recorded for film and television in the early 1970s.
Recorded through a cold August night in 2023, the FML house band digs deep into space and repetition, delving into dark and murky sounds reminiscent of Alain Goraguer. The 15 tracks of Planet Frollen feature warm Rhodes progressions, expressive and woody wah guitar and eerie Farfisa, accented by sparse percussion and plonky Clavinet melodies. Capturing the quiet and eerie serenity of the early morning hours, Planet Frollen delivers a variety of moods and palettes for your next production.
Each composition is BPM and key-labeled, performed, and recorded on real instruments, ensuring seamless integration into your next production. FML’s sounds are meticulously captured using Langevin and Flickenger-style preamps and vintage microphones, guaranteeing pristine audio quality.
